Plant has fragrant silver, green foliage with purple blooms.  Blooms and foliage can be eaten and used in cooking or used in oils, potpourris and sachets.  It grows 18-24" tall in full sun to part shade.  Lavenders need to be grown in well drained soil to prevent root rot.  Perennial Zone 5-9.
