Plant has a celery like foliage with a similar flavor.  Leaves can be eaten fresh or used in soups, salads, or cakes.  All parts of the plant are edible.  It grows 18-24" tall in full sun to part shade.  Lovage doesn't grow well in full sun in the South.  Protect it the full sun between noon and 4pm. Perennial  Zone 4-8.
