Plant has 1-2" long dark green leaves that have a strong , intense spearmint aroma and taste.  Leaves are used fresh or dried in drinks, teas, jellies, candies and cooking.  It grows 12-18" tall in full sun to part shade in well drained soil.  Mints need to be confined or will outgrow beds.  Perennial   Zone 5-11.
