Plant has 1" long dark green leaves that has an peppermint, light chocolate aroma and flavor.  Most people say it tastes like a thin mint or a York Peppermint Patty.  Leaves are used fresh or dried in jellies, candies, teas, drinks and cooking. It grows 12-18" tall in full sun to part shade in well drained soil.  Mints need to be confined or will outgrow beds.  Perennial  Zone 4-8.
