Plant has 1-2" long green leaves with a strong peppermint aroma and flavor.  Leaves are used fresh or dried in jellies, teas, drinks and cooking.  It grows 15-18" tall in full sun to part shade in well drained soil.  Mints need to be confined or will outgrow bed.  Perennial   Zone 5 - 9.
