Plant has 1-2" long green leaves that have a slight spicy, ginger aroma and flavor.  Leaves are used fresh or dried in teas, drinks, flavoring, cooking or candies.  It grows 18-24" tall in full sun to part shade in well drained soil.  Mints need to be confined or will outgrow beds.  Perennial.  Zone 5-9.
